Forever and Ever He'll Be…

We met in the shadow of an era…
Forever frozen in time…
Harley bike in the background…
Great protector of mine.

He rescued me from living,
A life - I needed to shed…
And then after years of dating…
We finally were wed.

He loved me as I was…
With boys that were not his own.
Together he made us a family…
From 2 kids to 4, at home.

He had his own son too…
From a past with pain inside…
Now 2 daughters we've made…
His love he cannot hide.

He taught me that love's a treasure,
That cannot be bought or sold…
No precious gemstone can match it…
No silver or even gold.

People don't always see…
The man I've grown to know…
Leather has 2 sides…
A rock – can shine and glow…

For in the dark of an evening…
And in the quiet star light…
I learned that strength is gentle…
And our love was meant to be right.

He's the reason I wake up in the morning…
He makes my days worthwhile…
My greatest moments in life…
Are when I inspire his smile.

He deserves more than I can give him…
For all he has done for me…
My husband…
My lover…
My friend…
Forever and ever he'll be.
