As you can see from the slope you are standing on (MT. NORQUAY), we are within view of the townsite of BANFF.

From this vantage point, you also catch your first glimpse of "HOT's" favorite mountain...MT.RUNDLE

The best way to begin our tour...is to START AT THE TOP!

We can see the tramcar of SULPHUR MOUNTAIN...#3 ("HOT's" favorite #)...which takes us to the perfect spot to view SUNDANCE CANYON and all the beautiful surroundings of BANFF.

This is the top of SULPHUR MOUNTAIN.

You can see the restaurant/gift shop, hike trails, and mountains galore!!!

From the top of SULPHUR MT. you look down on the townsite of BANFF...

In this photo, "HOT" is standing on the peak that offers you this SPECTACULAR view!

One of "HOT's" absolute favorite places in BANFF, is the CAVE & BASIN swimming pool.

These surrounding springs were historically where and why BANFF was discovered and turned into a National Park.

Unfortunately, this pool has been closed, and may not reopen, unless funds/efforts could make it so. This is a definite loss of a beautiful way to see the mountains of BANFF (floating on your back and staring into beautiful scenery).

There is also the Upper Hot Springs Pool in BANFF...which is more for soaking in (THERAPEUTIC).

From the CAVE & BASIN, you may take many trails to hike/bike on, into SUNDANCE CANYON

Not far from our last spot...is the very famous...

BANFF SPRINGS HOTEL

This is the place to stay in BANFF...if money is no object and luxury is what you're looking for.

The rich and famous all know of this place!!!

Directly below the Banff Springs Hotel, are the BOW RIVER & BOW FALLS

There is a trail which follows the river, and many spots to picnic, fish, and enjoy the brisk mountain waters.

From this point we can see the mirror reflection of the mountain in one of the Assiniboine Lakes.
