CLARKE ... THEN

Here is a picture of Clarke, at about 2 years of age.

Mommy is returning to a teaching position in the fall of 1992, and setting up her new classroom.

Clarke is so eager to be a student, that he sat down at an empty desk, and waited for mommy to start teaching!

CLARKE ... NOW

Here is a picture of Clarke, at about 8 years of age.

Mommy has not yet returned to a teaching position (or her own classroom) in the fall of 1998 (has to substitute), but there is still a lot to be eager for.

This is Thanksgiving, and Clarke is sitting down at an empty plate, waiting to start eating!

Before we begin the feast, Clarke says grace for us, and we all give thanks for our MANY blessings.

Clarke is my friend, as well as my son.

Besides the fact that he read his first book at 2 years of age, there are many things his father and I are proud of him for.

Clarke is a devout Christian, and has received both the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, and First Holy Reconciliation, in 1998.

Clarke has always been well-liked and admired by friends and family.

I appreciate all the times I get to spend with Clarke, alone. We go walking, shopping, to hockey games and to church together.

I hope and pray that Clarke and I always stay close and good friends with each other.
